Millburn High School Ranked #1 in NJ

Millburn High SchoolMillburn High School is ranked the Number #1 High School in New Jersey by New Jersey Monthly .

Why?
“After placing eleventh in the 2004 New Jersey Monthly high school rankings, and third in 2006, Millburn High School earned the top spot this year, in large part due to its students impressive test performances. Millburn outranked the states 315 other high schools on average SAT score and performance on the state-mandated High School Proficiency Assessment.
Among the 2008 seniors, 97 percent are set to attend four-year colleges, including 29 who are Ivy League-bound. In addition to being ranked among the top U.S. high schools by Newsweek, US News and World Report, and the Wall Street Journal, Millburn High has been named a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education, the highest award a school can receive.”
Millburn High School holds fond memories for me. Principal William Myron was in my own graduating class and head guidance counselor, Nancy Siegel helped me through my own college process. The courses offered have always been terrific. I was fortunate to take Russian Literature, Existentialism and AP History “way back when.”
As we all return home with tears in our eyes from dropping off our college Freshman (Syracuse), we know Millburn High School has prepared them well for what lies ahead.
